Three maps are being prepared as part of the public water system assessments for all public systems in Delaware for the Source Water Assessment and Protection Program. The three maps are:

1) Delineated Source Water Area for the Public Water System

2) Discrete (Point) Sources within the Source Water Area

3) Land Use within the Source Water Area

The Delaware Source Water Assessment Plan originally proposed that all maps developed for the SWAPP be posted on this project web site. (See list of completed assessments at the bottom of this page.) However, because of security concerns, this information must be obtained directly from the DNREC Division of Water Resources under the Delaware Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) procedures. To obtain maps prepared for the source water program, you may either contact the Source Water Program directly or file a FOIA request electronically from the Division of Water Resources Web site:
