Conservation Checklist
  • Periodically review all you water use practices.
  • Learn how to read your water meter and monitor consumption.
  • Periodically check all faucets/toilets for leaks and repair them promptly.
  • Install water saving devices where possible.
  • Wash only full loads in your washer and dishwasher.
  • Always turn off water when it is not needed (e.g. while washing dishes and brushing teeth).
  • Take shorter showers.
  • Water lawns/gardens during cool parts of the day (early morning or late evening).
  • Use mulch around trees and shrubs to reduce surface evaporation.
