Martha
Boeck Corrozi

M.P.A. University of Delaware, 2002 - Analytical Paper Title

new water supplies with the Delaware Water Coordinator and the
Water Supply Coordinating Council, designing an experimental
watershed as an on-campus education and research laboratory,
and mapping and calculating the impervious cover in Water Resource
Protection Areas (WRPAs) using GIS mapping techniques. Her research
experience provided her several opportunities to present research
procedures and findings at conferences including the American
Geophysical Union Conference in Boston and the Delaware GIS
2002 Conference in Rehoboth. She was awarded the School of Urban
Affairs and Public Policy Excellence in Water Resources Scholarship.
Martha has
accepted a position with the Chesapeake Bay Program located
in Annapolis, Maryland.
Justin Bower
B.A. Sociology, State University of New York at Geneseo
M.A.
University of Delaware, 2002
Analytical Paper Title - "Breaking the Surface: Towards
a Comprehensive Policy Approach to Impervious Cover in Watershed
Management"
Chair - Richard Sylves
Committee Member - Gerald Kauffman (Water Resources Agency)
Justin pursued a concentration in Energy and Environmental Policy
and was a research assistant in the Water Resources Agency in
the Institute for Public Administration. His projects included
Delaware's Source Water Assessment and Protection Program (SWAPP),
for which he assessed the vulnerability for Delaware's public
surface water supplies. He also assisted with GIS mapping, water
sampling and planning for the University of Delaware Experimental
Watershed. Justin received the School's 2002 Excellence in Water
Resources Scholarship. He believes the contributions he has
made in the M.A. program relate strongly to the great synthesis
of academia and work experience the School offers. He plans
to pursue a career specializing in water resources and watershed
management, and low impact development planning.
We
would like to thank them for all the hard work they contributed
to the WRA and we wish them well in all their future endeavors. |
