Educational Posters

    The following are watershed education posters.  These posters provide broad data and information, and are of use to all ages and educational backgrounds.  They answer basic questions such as "what is a watershed and why should I care?," offer opportunities for instructors to demonstrate how watersheds are deliminated and how land use characterization and watershed analysis are accomplished.  In addition, the "Elements of a Water Management Strategy" poster series illustrates the power of spatial analysis for watershed management and asks some basic, yet, intriguing questions about land/water interactions in the basin.

For excellent results in Microsoft PowerPoint the following settings can be used:
